The short version: there are no accounts, no tracking and no advertising, and Crunch Time keeps your saves on your own device. The one exception is the optional challenge leaderboard: if you submit a run, we keep what you chose to send, and nothing else.

This website

• We use no analytics, no trackers and no third-party embeds, and we set no cookies of our own. Our host, Cloudflare, may set strictly necessary security cookies if it has to challenge suspected abusive traffic.
• Standard web-server logs (IP address, requested page, time) may be processed briefly by Cloudflare to serve the site and defend it from abuse.

Crunch Time

• Your saves stay in your browser. Your career and any challenge run in progress are saved in your browser's local storage on your own device and are never sent to us. Clearing your browser's site data deletes them, so use Export save in the game's settings if you want a copy.
• Leaderboards are optional. Nothing about a challenge run leaves your device unless you press Submit on the end-of-challenge screen.

What a leaderboard submission sends and keeps

• The display name you type. It is shown publicly on that challenge's board. Don't use your real name unless you want it to be public.
• Your score, and the in-game choices you made during that run, such as which tickets you assigned, which events you answered and when. Our server replays these choices to work out and check your score, so a submitted score can't be faked. Each board publicly shows the display name, studio value, number of games shipped and best review score.
• A random ID made by your browser, so a better run replaces your earlier one on the same board. It identifies only that browser, not you, and we keep only a scrambled (hashed) form of it.
• The date and time of the submission.

What we don't keep

We don't store IP addresses with submissions. Cloudflare uses your IP address for a moment to limit how often submissions can be made, and then forgets it. We keep no request logs. We use this data only to run the leaderboards, and we don't share or sell it.

Deleting it

Submitted runs stay on their board after the challenge ends. To have one removed, email [email protected] with the display name and the challenge date, and we'll delete it.

Email

If you email us, we keep the correspondence so we can answer you. We don't add you to any list or share your address.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date above changes with it.
